A JOURNEY OF FRESH THOUGHTS BEGINS WITH OUR THERAPIST’S FINGERS

Oh! Our masseurs’ hands speak. They hold a conversation with your body’s tense muscles and take you on a journey of heavenly relaxation, away from mundane everyday affairs.
As you begin to relax on the massage table, our therapists’ hands and fingers begin an exploration into you muscles, relaxing them with each touch, each foray into the muscles brings a sense of relief from tension.
The softly lit rooms, the smiling welcome from the therapists and other staff at the spa, combined with the fragrance of aromatherapy oils and fresh flowers sets the scene. And you sink deeper into the comfortable massage table, forgetting all your worries, sinking into a comfort zone within yourself.
Influenced by the traditional medicinal systems of India, China and Southeast Asia, the spa experience aims to restore the harmony of the body mind and spirit.
We at Orchid Bali Spa have engaged trained masseurs who are experts in the techniques of acupressure, skin rolling and flicking, firm and gentle stroking, percussion, and application of essential oils, relaxing your body and restoring your spirit.
Our masseurs use a combination of manual therapy and aromatherapy intended to relax the patient and loosen tight facial muscles and to stimulate the flow of blood and qi. One of the main goals of the massage is a relaxed state of mind; to accomplish this, our therapists knead or fold the skin to promote the flow of blood and energy throughout the body.
The massage is a dynamic, sensory experience, in which the therapist fingers will probe deep into the muscle tissue, stretching and kneading as required, putting pressure on acupressure and reflexology points and massaging oils into the body, to be followed by a shower.

Using reflexology our masseurs relieve pressure on the feet, hands, and ears. These body parts are sensitive and correspond to various organs and body systems; by applying pressure to these reflex points, problems with those organs or a person's general health may be addressed.

And of course as the pains and aches caused by hectic everyday lives eases away, your body regains its natural balance and you emerge with a fresh vigor, with a new zest for life!
